The band is celebrating 30 years of positively soulful dance vibes and undiluted jazz funk in 2009.
From an early age, the UK scene was a highly influential key of inspiration for Bluey, having moved to London from his native Mauritius.
His main point of reference are undoubtely the likings of Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Santana, Earth Wind & Fire, Kool & The Gang and Jose’ Feliciano.
It was the release of ‘Always There’ with Jocelyn Brown and the David Morales remix paved the way for how Bluey made music in the future while keeping in mind the DJ world.
Some of Bluey’s tracks have been refined and launched into the dance world by the remixes of Roger Sanchez, Masters At Work.
